The minimum age is 4 years old. All lessons must be booked in advance.

Cancellation Policy, no charge applicable if over 24hrs notice given. 25% of fee is less than 24 hours’ notice is given and 50% fee is cancelled on day.

EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS

Woodend RC offer a stable management training day run from 11am-3pm. Here individuals can diverge into all aspects of equine care.


Further to this, a variety of 'how to' sessions are available to expand individuals experience and knowledge in different aspects of equestrian care and training. 

These include:

  • How to tack up/ fit tack

  • How to feed

  • How to catch a horse

  • How to fit a rug

  • How to lunge

  • How to long rein

  • How to plait/ get show ready

  • How to groom

  • How to muck out

  • How to clip

  • How to – own choice.
